Scott's Selkirk
Scott's Selkirk began in the year 2000 as a millennium initiative of the Scottish Borders Tourist Board and was supported by many individuals, companies and businesses in and around the Royal Burgh.
It was such an outstanding success that the local people involved with the first year were very determined to carry it on as an annual event.
The highly successful Winter Festival brings Selkirk and the Scottish Borders to life in the run up to Christmas, being held during the first weekend in December.
Scott's Selkirk offers a wide variety of entertainment all over the town, from street theatre and historical re-enactments to musical performances and children's shows.
Added to this is the colourful market stalls which sell a wide variety of quality local goods and delicious aromas which emanate from the food hall all make Scott's Selkirk a truly memorial weekend.
Scott's Selkirk truly brings history to life and enjoyment for everybody to the 'auld grey toun'.
